Four Bin Feeder

Each of 4-bins of our cold aggregate feeder is fitted with a radial gate (easily operatable by a hand wheel) and an auxiliary belt feeder driven by a shaft mounted helical gear box and a AC motor. Gate opening ones set as per agg. Size, then flow of each size agg. is regulated from control panel by their motor speed control in auto mode according to desired set percentage of agg. gradation in mix design. Side rubber skirt on auxiliary feeders prevents material spillage and closely spaced straight rollers really help to prolong belt life. Abin vibrator provided on dust bin wall ensures easy down flow of dust when wet due to moisture. Gathering conveyor driven by an AC motor through helical gear collects all four size aggregates from their respective aux. feeders and transfers the same on to single deck vibrating screen which rejects over sizes. Ascrapper fitted at discharge end bottom of gathering conveyor keeps the belt neat and clean when wet dust sticks the belt.

Vibrating Screen

Single deck type vibrating screen removes oversize material and feeds the remaining material to charging conveyor. Different sizes of screen can be provided for removing oversize material for different kind of mix.

Slinger Conveyer

High speed slinger conveyor throws the cold wet aggregate into drum. Aload cell type belt weigher is mounted under slinger belt to measure aggregate flow rate which is displayed digitally in Tons/hour on control panel.

The conveyor belt is an important component in a stationary drum mix plant. All conveyer rubber belts are of M-24 Grade, 3 - ply of standard make company like Dunlop or MRF.

Mineral Filler Unit

Mineral Filler Hopper has rotary type feeder driven by a AC Motor and an air blower is provided to Pneumatically blow filler powder in to drum mixer through a pipe line.

Drum Burner

  • A2-stage high pressure jet burner suitable for HSD/LDO/Heavy oil is mounted on dryer unit at feeding end.
  • Is has a separate skid mounted pumping & filtering unit with solenoid valves, easily accessible for maintenance.
  • The burner is fully capable of heating aggregates to 180* C and to drive out moistures from aggregates without leaving any carbon residue or unburnt fuel particles on hot aggregates.
  • Burner is operated automatically either in ‘Low’ or High’ stage (firing single or double nozzle) as per heat requirement responding to thermocouple fitted at dryer discharge end.
  • Liquid fuel is pumped to pressurize by a gear pump and atomizes through fine holed nozzle into almost gaseous form.
  • Two electrodes gives spark to ignite the flame with maximum radiation heat to aggregates in drum’s heating zone.
  • Intake air supply to burner blower is automatically regulated by a radial gate at blower inlet operated by a ram.

Fuel Service Tank

Fuel tank is also Supplied with the plant having capacity 2000 Ltr. up to 5,000 Ltr. as required according to plant capacity.

Thermodrum Unit

Cylindrical dryer drum supported on 4- trunnion rollers by 2-steel tyres is driven by a chain and worm gear box and an AC motor. It receives weighed cold aggregates from slinger conveyor at one end and discharges hot asphalt mix from other end on to a load out conveyor.

A high pressure jet burner fitted at feeding end fires red hot flame in to the drum to heat and dry wet aggregates. Specially designed cascading and notched flights in heating zone allows maximum heat transfer from flame and hot gases to aggregates. J-shaped flights in mixing zone thoroughly mixes and perfectly coats bitumen on aggregates and filler.

Specially Designed Drum Internal Flights

Spray cone fitted on bitumen and filler pipeline inside the drum mixes powder filler with liquid bitumen first to make slurry then, further mixes with aggregates thus prevents blow out of fine filler in to exhaust.

2 Nos. steel cast thrust wheels prevent drum from slowly moving down ward while running under load due to its inclined position.

Skewabletrunnion rollers also can be adjusted for minimum thrust force on thrust wheels and run drum smooth with minimum wear.

2- dam plates inside drum allows longer heating and mixing time to aggregates thus, help to produce super quality of mix.

Sweep rotor discharges hot mix material on to load out conveyor where a thermocouple is mounted on discharge chute to measure mix material temperature.

A multicone cyclone box and exhaust fan with motor and chimney are mounted on the same chassis.

Load Out Conveyor

Load out conveyor elevates the asphalt hot mix from drum to such height that it can be directly loaded in a dumper truck. It is fitted with hydraulically operated Gob hopper which helps the material to fall without segregation. Conveyor belt is heat resistance grade of MRF / Dunlop make only.

Bitumen Storage Tank

Storage tanks in our stationary and mobile drum mix asphalt plant are mounted on a sturdy chassis.

These storage tanks are cylindrical or U shaped.

The tank is insulated with glass wool to avoid heat loss and reduce fuel consumption.

Pressure jet burner suitable for LDO / HSD is fitted with tank.

Bitumen pump driven by a AC Motor if fitted on chassis.

Bitumen pump and pipe lines are hot oil jacketed.

Control Cabin

Control cabin is fabricated with M.S. structure and insulated by wood. Control Panel is housed in a well insulated weather proof cabin with many glass windows for full view of entire plant.

Pollution Control Devices

Highly efficient Secondary dust collectors known as wet dust collectors consist of two units - venturi type duct fitted with water spray S.S nozzles and a wet dust separator tank.

It meets all Standards established by Government’s Pollution Control board The unit can also be added / Fitted to your any make Existing Asphalt hot mix plant.

Hot Mix Storage Silo

AADESH offers complete standard solution for safe storage of Asphalt hot mix. Silos are supplied with standard safe controls. The Silo is rigid easy to erect and transfer.
